Outreach Service Planning for 2026-27 well underway

Published Date: 07 May 2026

Outreach service planning for 2026–27 is well underway, with RDN Health engaging key partners across NSW and the ACT in a series of collaborative planning discussions. This process is designed to ensure services remain relevant, cost-effective, well utilised, culturally safe, and responsive to the highest priority community needs.

RDN Health’s annual review and needs assessment combines qualitative and quantitative data with planning workshops to assess current service performance, identify emerging priorities, and explore opportunities for new or expanded services. These discussions support co‑design with partners for the upcoming financial year and ongoing collaboration throughout 2026–27 to ensure services remain efficient, responsive and community‑led.

Reflecting on the importance of this work, Amanda Masset, Health Access Outreach Services Manager at RDN Health, said:
“Working in partnership with local health organisations is essential to ensure the Outreach program supports services that meet the highest priority needs for each community. All services are co-designed with our local partners and regional stakeholders to ensure they align with community priorities.”

The team at RDN Health really values the important role its local partners play in their communities and looks forward to continuing to work together to deliver services that are responsive, culturally safe, and meet local needs.
