The NSW Ministry of Health and RDN Health are partnering to deliver an interactive ADHD Masterclass for GPs, bringing together leading clinical experts to support the delivery of high-quality ADHD care in general practice.
Held on Thursday 26 November at The Tea Room QVB, this practical one-day masterclass is conveniently located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, making it easily accessible for metropolitan GPs, while also being just a short distance from the Rural GPs Conference for those travelling to Sydney for the event.
The masterclass will cover:
- ADHD fundamentals
- Pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical management of ADHD
- Next steps in the NSW ADHD reforms process
- Insights from paediatricians and psychiatrists
- Management of common comorbidities
- Interactive case studies
- Open forum and Q&A with leading clinical experts
Participants will meet the training requirements to become a continuation prescriber under the NSW ADHD Care in General Practice reforms.
Registration is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health, and participants will receive a complimentary copy of the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association's (AADPA) ADHD Prescribing Guide for the Continuation of Care & Co-Managed Care in General Practice.
The event will be accredited for RACGP CPD and ACRRM PDP, with certificates of attendance available for self-submission to other colleges.
This event forms part of Rural Health Month, with a range of related activities and events taking place throughout the month. If you're a rural GP, you may also be interested in attending the Rural GPs Conference, taking place 27-28 November. Information on how to register will be in your confirmation email.
